Timothy Ford Bryson (TFB) is a recognized expert in the intersecting fields of internationalization and athletics. His journey in sports began with a passion for basketball and soccer, which later expanded to include track. While Tim thrived as an athlete, he faced the dilemma of choosing between being a student athlete or focusing on his major. Ultimately, he opted to pursue a degree in Athletic Training, acknowledging that his identity extended beyond just participating in athletics.
In 2020, to further broaden his identity, Tim launched the "Walk With TFB" podcast, where he delves into themes of education, sports, and Black culture, particularly addressing anti-Blackness and the experiences of Black individuals in America. The podcast quickly gained traction, prompting Tim to explore additional subjects such as digital branding and leadership development. Shortly after the podcast's inception, Tim identified the challenges faced by international athletes in finding post-college employment. This realization led him to expand Walk With TFB into a movement aimed at assisting international athletes in their career development. Through his proactive efforts, he has cultivated a supportive community dedicated to unlocking these athletes' potential.
As the host of "Walk With TFB," Tim actively engages in meaningful conversations and shares valuable insights through Tim Talks. He also established the Internationalization and Athletics (IAA) Summit, which brings together speakers and organizations from around the globe to enhance the field. Tim's initiatives highlight the significance of community and strive to create opportunities for international athletes, preparing them for future success.
